Graham Forster Presents: Train Shows Summer 2022. Part 3. Greenberg’s Train & Toy Show.
This show takes place in Edison at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. This year it is estimated that between 20,000 and 50,0000 visitors will attend and be subject to approximately 120 exhibitions. The Northeast’s longest-running train and toy show (and the largest), it has been a staple of the area since the mid-1970s. Displayed at the show are many hundreds of trains, toys and accessories for sale along with workshops (no fee) to attend.
Kids will love the trains that they can run also. For train connoisseurs such as Graham Forster, it is a “true gem” that “cannot be missed.”
“I’ve always loved trains even before I got really into it when I had more time after my retirement. As a youngster I would dream of being able to hang out in places where tons of other train lovers were. But the excitement of being at my first ever train show more than a decade ago way surpassed even my expectation.
Seeing the toys there now is probably more thrilling to me than even the trains,” admits Forster.
